In October, our CEO, Bjørn Højgaard, attended the naming ceremony of Fednav Limited’s M.V. Federal New York in Oshima, alongside Fednav’s President & CEO, Paul Pathy, and Executive Vice President & COO, Isabelle Brassard.
This bulk carrier was built by Oshima Shipbuilding Co. Ltd., with newbuilding and project management services handled by Anglo-Eastern Technical Services (AETS). She boasts a deadweight tonnage of 34,763 and is specialised to trade in the Great Lakes of North America.
It was our pleasure to have been part of this significant journey and continue our partnership with Fednav which has lasted over 30 years. This time, we proudly take on the technical ship management requirements of M.V. Federal New York and place her in the capable hands of Captain Nikhil Vishnu Bhatt and Chief Engineer Surendran Lakshmi Narayanan.
