Workshop Instructor

• Upkeep – all equipment’s, machinery tools, spares/ stores (consumables) storage, handling and maintain inventory.
• Assisting & conducting for delivering of all resources required for various skill-based courses being conducted.
• Assisting in commissioning of new projects and installations.
• Carry out Repair, maintenance and fabrication as instructed.
• Assist in conducting training exercises including assessments of participants as per desired standards.
• Carry out visual checks after use of equipment and report any defects noted

Qualification:

• Able Seafarer (Engine) COP.
• Certificates in usage of Lathe, machine tools, fittings.
• Welding Certification from classification Society.
• Other Specialized training courses (Tanker / Gas, etc.)
• Capable of 6G welding, gas cutting, drill / lathe and other fabrication work.
• Conversant with appropriate safe practices and safety gear used on board.
• Preferred ITI Diploma in fitting, machine work, etc.
• Having excellent hands-on practical skills.
  Experience:
• Min. 7 years of experience sailing as Marine Fitter.
• Preferred sailing experience on Oil / Chemical / Gas Tankers.

Desirous:

• Excellent verbal communication skills in English and Hindi.
• Should be interested in modern teaching methodologies.
• Candidate must have a passion for learning continuously and a desire to be in the teaching profession.
• Be able to use Word / Excel Program on computer.
• Energetic and takes initiative to achieve excellence in all activities
