Anglo-Eastern opens doors to new, collaborative workplace in Singapore

Singapore is a key hub for Anglo-Eastern, serving as home to its second-largest ship management office worldwide. Reinforcing the location’s significance, the company recently consolidated all of its Singapore entities into a single office space, relocating its main base from Southpoint to Labrador Tower.

Anglo-Eastern’s Singapore office was first established in 1997 and has since evolved to become one of its major sites, particularly across the company’s tanker and gas carrier operations. Its new Singapore office is a space that represents its commitment to innovation, collaboration, and operational excellence. Thoughtful design fosters productivity and connection, with the new office featuring a mixture of workspaces, including multiple collaboration zones and breakout areas to encourage greater coordination and teamwork. The office is also equipped with a state-of-the-art Emergency Response Team (ERT) room which offers a designated space that is able to bring all core teams together when managing and responding to critical situations.

This strategic move strengthens Anglo-Eastern’s foundation in Singapore and demonstrates its commitment to growing alongside the Singapore maritime community, enhancing collaboration with key bodies, including the Maritime Energy Training Facility (METF) and the Maritime and Port Authority of Singapore.

By consolidating its operations and bringing colleagues together across two contiguous floors, the modern, collaborative workspace reflects who Anglo-Eastern is today and the direction in which the company is heading.

This project continues Anglo-Eastern’s workplace transformation strategy, with similar office designs and relocations having already taken place across multiple locations, starting with Anglo-Eastern’s headquarters in Hong Kong in 2020.
